Human Trafficking
Formed in 2014, this committee responds to increased awareness of the extent and effects of human trafficking on women and girls in Maryland. The committee interacts with other organizations, develops informational programs for the branch, and makes recommendations for possible roles we can play in combating these evils.

Recent activities/objectives/goals include:
• Attend the County monthly Taskforce meetings at the Rockville Library
• Continue to search for new presentation opportunities for outreach/education
• Recruit new members to our Committee
• Apply pressure to legislators for passage of bills addressing Human Trafficking issues.

Here’s how you can help:
• Join us
• Contact your civic organizations, religious communities, alumnae affiliations to arrange for Human trafficking presentations
• Contact your elected legislators to support anti-human trafficking legislation.
